Tips ๐
- It's the second biggest city in Korea but somehow felt more chill compared to Seoul.
- There's lots of beaches directly in the city centre making it a very pleasant place to stay.
- Book a lot in advance the sky capsule train as it's very popular.
Accommodation ๐
We were there only for one night so we stayed at the Park Hyatt Busan to enjoy the view and proximity of the beach.
Getting there ๐ฒ
We drove directly from Geoje with our rental car and left directly from there.
Food & Drink ๐
- ์กฐ๊ฐ๋ทฐ ํด์ด๋๋ณธ์ : Great seafood korean BBQ overlooking the sea
- Haeundae Market: Central street food market with lots of options
Duration โฑ
We spent only one day in the city, but felt like two full days would have been better. It's much bigger than we though, and the vibe coupled with the access to the beach made it seems a great place to enjoy few days.
Busan center ๐
Since we didn't had much time to explore the city (only one afternoon), we limited our area to Haeundae. We started by getting some fresh seafood at ์กฐ๊ฐ๋ทฐ ํด์ด๋๋ณธ์ while watching the sea with some beers.

We then headed straight to the Haedong Yonggungsa Temple, a beautiful and historic temple very scenic.

We then made our way back in the town to grab an extra bite at the Haeundae Market and do a quick stroll around the centre. We made our way back to the departure for the Sky Capsule, and enjoyed the 30 minute ride with great views on the cost in those original train carriage. Note that we had to queue 30 minutes before boarding (super popular on a Sunday), and while it was a fun experience, we wouldn't recommend to do it if too busy (not worth it).

After that, made our way back to our hotel and checked in for the night while observing the wonderful view of the city. Definitely felt that we left too early, and that the city have lots more to offer.
