Tips ๐
- We stayed on the island closed to the airport which is much bigger that it seems. There's plenty to do on the island, including lots of restaurant, spa, beaches and monument (even golf!).
Accommodation ๐
We stayed at the Nest Hotel Incheon mostly for the proximity to the international airport. Being our last couple of days in the country, we wanted to relax mostly with an option to get to Seoul for last minute activities. While the hotel was great, it was fairly away from the airport and the city area, so wouldn't recommend.
Getting there ๐ฒ
We took a direct train from Busan in 2h30, followed by a taxi ride to the airport, super easy and fast!
Food & Drink ๐
- ๋ฐ๋ด์ ๋ฉด์: Awesome place, super cheap and delicious dumpling and soup, very friendly owner, a must!
- Tonkatsu korean restaurant: Great tonkatsu with vegetarian options
- Generous Beef Serving charcoal grill Yeongjong International City Branch: Great beef BBQ
Duration โฑ
We spent 1.5 day on the Incheon island and felt that was great to just relax and unwind before heading back to work. We didn't actually explore Incheon in-land, and the island itself is actually much bigger than in looks, and seems to also offer various things to do (beaches, monument etc..), so would consider 2 full days.
Incheon Island ๐
This was our last stop, and we used it mostly to recharge, chill and unwind. We started by walking around the hotel to the nearby beaches, to get some nice viewpoints, before heading to the north east of the island via Uber for lunch. We ate amazing dumpling soup at ๋ฐ๋ด์ ๋ฉด์: (strongly recommend) before doing a stroll in the area for last minute shopping.

We then headed to the nearby golf Sky72 for another practice session korean-style (it was literally packed), where we could practice again our swing for a very cheap price, at the sunset.

After that, we headed back to the same spot as earlier for a lovely final beef BBQ with juicy and tender meat, before going back to our hotel for a last spa and pool session, closing wonderfully our trip to Korea!
